Grant History

The Foundation was established with the mission to enhance the lives of those who live in the DeForest area.  Grants have been awarded to various non-profit groups.   

• RECENT GRANT APPLICATIONS APPROVED:

  • $10,000 to the DeForest Police Dept Canine unit

  • $1,000 to Blessing in a Backpack 

• March 2023: $12,000 to the DeForest Area Public Library for updating cabinets in the children's room; and $14,000 to improve lightning at the DeForest Area Community and Senior Center.
  
  

• Over the last 10 years over $60,000 in scholarships for DeForest Area High School graduates.

• An additional $250,000 awarded for a variety of projects and causes, including:

  • DeForest Area Community and Senior Center

  • Friends of the Yahara River Foundation

  • Veteran's Memorial Park

  • Token Creek Watershed

  • DAHS Swing Choir

  • DASD Big Hill Environmental Center

  • DAHS Project Graduation
